The UK's oldest working theatre in it's original form has appointed Pillar PR to help promote its special anniversary pantomime this winter.

The Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond, North Yorkshire, is Britain's most complete Georgian playhouse and is celebrating 225 years since it was built by renowned actor-manager Samuel Butler in 1788.

This year, the theatre is producing a spectacular and unique version of the perennial favourite, Cinderella, complete with a historical twist and a very special four-legged guest star! We are working with theatre managers and the production team to let more people know about this wonderful Christmas show in the heart of Yorkshire.

Pillar PR has already launched the show's 'Race for Lace' appeal and helped to organise a Halloween competition for children in the region. As well as ongoing media work, we'll be running some very unusual competitions so watch this space or keep your eye on the Georgian Theatre Royal's twitter and facebook pages.

Perfect for audiences of all ages, you can see the show from Saturday 7th December until Sunday 5th January with tickets starting at £7 for adults and £6 for concessions. Book online at www.georgiantheatreroyal.co.uk or call the box office on 01748 825252 and get ready for a sparkling pantomime adventure.
